Today I went ahead I laid out all my box calls, pot calls and strikers. Just put them out on a table I have in my bonus room. I think I may buy a display case for them. Believe it or not 75% of these calls have been bought since I joined this forum back in November (this place is dangerous lol). This coincides with the time I retired from the Army also. While I was still in the Army I pretty much just went Woodhaven, Zink and primos calls (which all kill birds). Due to spending about 9 months a year overseas I missed a lot of time in the woods so I would just buy from my local Academy Sports. I am only stationed about 40 miles north of Nashville so I finally got to go to the NWTF Convention in 2019 and I got my first taste of some different and great calls. Now I will not be missing anymore seasons and I may have an addiction.

Looks like this forum really got you to explore more pot calls! What's the one on the bottom right corner? Copper? I don't see that color of beige very often.

Yeah it is a Stumpy ceramic, what looks like a shiny part is just where I conditioned it a little.

Talked to Matt Fulkerson today, he just mailed out my hen box. Should have it by Thursday. I live in Tennessee about 2 miles from the Kentucky border and he lives by Louisville so shouldn't take long. Can't wait to play it.

You should go see Richard Hudson.  He's between Clarksville and Dover.

Not sure how it shows up to him but on my monitor I had to move the picture to see the entire right side including the ceramic, so maybe he was talking about the copper after all? What is the longbox to the left? Nice collection by the way and thank you for your service.

Good choice hell of a call. Helluva guy as well.

I like the name of the box on the far right. Kinda catchy ;)

Yes,thanks for your time spent in service of our Country! You just as well let me "steal" those one piece strikers from you so they won't feel so slighted by all those 2 piece babies!!!  hahaha...

The copper is a Mike Yingling and the longbox is a Jeff McKamey Black Limba over Paduak

Thank you guys for all the nice comments. I loved my 23 years in the Army. But everybody has to hang it up at some point.
