Pot Call Advice
« on: May 28, 2020, 09:54:13 AM »
Sorry for the double post, but I just realized I should have posted this question here first......I'm in the process of putting a double sided pot call kit together. Bottom surface is slate, question is.....should I leave the wood solid under the slate or drill it out?

Since this is a kit, and all you have to do is glue it up, I'd experiment with both.

I agree experiment. You will get different tones. If it where me id cut it out just leaving a lip for the slate to sit on

noisy box call that seems to sound like a flock of juvenile hens pecking their way through a wheat field
