Darrin Dawkins and Lonnie Mabry are my two favorite anodized aluminum pots.
What striker do you run with your Mabry? I’m looking to acquire a couple more strikers to go with mine (anodized aluminum over walnut).

I have heard something about alcohol wipes, I have tried scotch brite only seems to make it slicker.

Alcohol wipes get rid of all grime and then the alcohol evaporates, so it’s ready to go. I believe you can just use a paper towel and rubbing alcohol.
