I bought one last spring. I liked it really well. Had a nice medium high pitch with a raspy back end finish. Way more lively than a traditional grey slate. You can keekee with this pot which is saying a good deal for a skate pot. Only downside to it for me was if it was cool like it tends to be in WV early spring, it didn't grab the striker well. Overall I thought it was a good pot. Only reason I sold it was I wanted something else more. But with confidence, Halloran doesn't make bad calls
