Crow call tips

Just received my first crow call and it's an Oak Burl screamer from Darrell Gibson. Never carried a crow call in the woods with me so looking for any tips on making particular sounds, variations of sounds, ways to actually tote it in your vest/lanyard, times to use etc. all thing crow call gobbler locating. Thanks!

I will do a long caww then hit 2 or 3 short caws.  If nothing il hit 4 or 5 quick bursts on it.  Don't be afraid to get loud. I've had numerous occasions where I hit my Gibson 2 or 3 times and they don't gobble til the fourth 3rd or 4th try. They work but birds gotta be in a decent mood too
