« on: May 04, 2020, 05:17:54 PM »
Ordered a new Indian Creek tube to run in my gun. Wanting to see what I can expect. Post some pics of what kind of patterns you are getting and what king of gun you are using. I will post some when my choke shows up.

Welcome to OG!!!  Many guys run the IC in their guns and they pattern Extremely well.  You didn't say what model gun or what shell you are going to shoot but there is Patterning Board posts for each Manufacturer on this site.  Many of the guys on this site have done plenty of patterning for you and are willing to pass their information on.  Go to your gun manufacturer Patterning Board section and you should see plenty of PICS and info.  This is a GREAT site, even better members sharing info and run by a TOP NOTCH Admin staff.  Welcome again!

I have a buddy that runs a .665 IC in his 870.  The IC patterns great with Hevi's and Longbeards.  He hasn't tried TSS since he gets Great patterns with Hevi's and LB's.  Check the Remington Patterning Board and you should get plenty of PICS.  I would recommend Hevi 6's and LB 6's.

I ran an Indian Creek .665 in my 870 using 3.5 inch Apex #9s. This was at 55 yards just to see what it would do. If I remember correctly it was 381 pellets in the e.
