I have had this one for a few years. It has been used on a few different rifles and shotguns. It still looks like new and when used correctly works like a charm.

I'm going to be blunt,I believe the Claw sling to be the most overrated sling I have ever purchased. I have three of them and I just do not find them better than any others, they are ok but they are nothing special to me.I guess I am hard to impress.

I totally agree. I have one and it’s nothing special. I feel like it’s a little too short, and I don’t like the grippy part of it, which is the whole point of The Claw I guess. I like a sling to slip right off my shoulder without grabbing my clothes.

I’ve got both Claw and Slogan Outdoor slings.  Both are good but the Slogan Outdoor sling is better.

I only own claw slings. Threw every sling I owned away years ago an own 4 claws now. I typically do not swap slings between guns, I just leave them own there during the season and take them off after season. With all that said , I do not use a sling on a shotgun while turkey hunting. I will take a sling with me on out of state trips in case the desire to pack one in a very long ways is necessary, particularly more mountainous environment. But to this day ive never actually used one while turkey hunting. The gun stays in my hand....Deer season is a different story. But the claw sling is excellent.

I bought a Claw sling because of all the hype.  I couldn't stand it.  I started using Browning X-Cellerator slings in the mid 90s.  It's the best sling I've ever used.  It's the only sling I use on my rifles and shotguns.  I couldn't imagine there being anything better.

Great. I definitely prefer the Kodiak. I switched to it on all my guns

The Limbsaver Kodiak Air slings are the only slings I use on all my hunting guns. They are comfortable,  adjustable for grip, and have minimal cloth or webbing to carry moisture and freeze on late season waterfowl hunts. They also come with exceptional tooless swivels to attach to your gun

Man, if you can do it,  forget the sling and stay ready! Ive seen to many guns on shoulders when they should have been ready to shoot! To each their own though i know they ate awful nice especially when carrying gear.

I'm another vote for Slogan Outdoor sling. The best in my opinion.

My son just got me one of these Kodiak Air slings for Father's Day - it's a great sling.  I have been using Claw slings and like them, but I do appreciate the very quiet quick-release hinges and the lighter weight of the Kodiak Air - 3 ounces lighter than the Claw sling with the handle removed from the Kodiak Air, and the same weight as the Claw with the handle on.

The Quake Claw - in the Contour shape.  That’s the one I prefer - thin, but it won’t slip off my shoulder.
