Gobbling good in CT
« on: April 06, 2020, 06:40:28 AM »
Every year I go thru a long winded post about that last 15 years of first gobbles. Just not feeling up to it this year. Just canceled my turkey season for NY. Can’t do it, to much uncertainty with  corona. Try to get my fix in CT.  First time not hunting NY in 32 years.

I was out Sunday morning and had 4 or 5 sounding off around me at right about 6.  Then I saw a couple strutting in fields with hens on the way home.  One was neat looking, his wings were almost all white.  I hear you too about New York I was supposed to head up there around Memorial Day hopefully the virus will have run its course by then but I feel like that is unlikely.
