1187 Compact Finally Shooting Right
« on: April 03, 2020, 08:14:03 PM »
It’s been a long journey with this little girl but she finally shooting good patterns. In the end it just shoots better dirty. I’m anal about a clean gun. After changing several chokes and shells without success I decided to start over. I put a new King Slayer red dot, Sumtoy 568, and 3 different shells. I shot it several times at 20 yards to get it sighted in. Moved back to 40 and 2 more shots to get it dead on. Didn’t clean it at all. Shot 3 different shells, all 3 inch, Apex #9, Federal #9, Hevi 13 Magblend 5-6-7. Here are the results. Much better than before.

That Apex pattern looks like a hammer!
