Rem 870 Compact. 21 inch dirty barrel. Carlson's .575 non-ported choke. Federal TSS #9 shot. Shot at 40, 30, and 20 yards.

This is definitely what I'll be taking hunting this year. Very happy with it. I was surprised the Undertaker HD 582 was tighter than the Carlson 575. The 582 was just too tight at 20 yards for my comfort.

After shooting the 575 I wasnt originally gonna even shoot the 582 due to the cost per shell. Then I thought what the heck. I started at 40 and liked how even it was. Then I shot the 30 and 20. Still a little leary with it being a bit hotter at 20 than the 575. Id say on average the majority of my shots have been around 25 yards. I was originally hoping the 582 would be a smidge less dense-like 180 to 200 in the 10 at 40. Oh well!
