Turned a few strikers for a friend. Turned some hackberry,tulipwood and frogwood Rh.  Thanx for the look.

Not sure what you mean. If it's what I think it is then all I can say as it varies from one call maker to the next. I like the flair as I feel I get more range of play with them but not against straight tips just don't do them.

I have the same deal as I can't handle the thinner shafted strikers.
