Help building a strutting decoy
« on: March 22, 2020, 02:45:15 PM »
Haven’t used decoys much throughout my turkey hunting life but I picked up a turkey thugs strutting decoy after season a few years ago and it’s just sitting in the box. I’ve got a bunch of extra fans laying around and think I want to try to build a strutting decoy with real tail and wing feathers to try and get a bird to show out on it. Any tips on things to do/don’t do building the decoy say for quick attach and detach of fan etc, AND also any tips on hunting with a strutter as far as placement, things to do and don’t hunting with one.
