I had I great day today, I had two birds come in right off but stayed right under the lip of a ridge and then walked off, walked down a road and had another one hammering in a little bottom, watched him come to 80 yards gobbling and strutting but turned and started running, I don't know what he saw. moved on down the road and got two more going, birds have been stay in the bottoms so I got down in a deep one with them, they came to about 60 yards and walked up a ninety degree hill, I climbed back up on top and I got my Watkins box out and called as loud as I could, cutting, they tripled gobble and then shut up, I heard him drum and he stepped out at 35 yards at 12:17 3/4 inch spurs, long beard, 10.5 but only weighed 13.14
