Benelli Monte and Federal 9's
« on: March 17, 2020, 06:14:23 PM »
Picked up the 20 gauge montefeltro in bottomland earlier this year and was able to get out and put it on paper recently. Was looking for an even hunting pattern and I think it looks pretty good at 20 and 40 yards with the .570 Rob Roberts choke.

20 yards

40 yards

Thank you sir, pulled the 40 yard shot a bit to the left but I think I got what I needed out of it

Nice hunting pattern! Post up a pick of your gun. I have a Franchi Affinity in Bottomland and a 12ga Monte in Max 5 camo. Love both of those guns!

It’s a gun that doesn’t get talked about much but I’ve been very impressed by it

I just bought this exact gun today, stoked to try it out.   I am thinking about a Sumtoy .562 and will be shooting TSS loads.  I have some federal shells and would like to pattern LB XR #6s as well as the Apex TSS loads.

Anyway, stoked to give it a try.  I will post what i find...

Definitely let me know how the .562 does, I would be interested to know.
