Shadow Box Fan Display
« on: May 11, 2011, 01:46:48 PM »
I killed my biggest bird this year and I am planning on making a shadow box to display the fan, spurs, and beard.  Anyone willing to share there photos or ideas.  This is one example I have found.  My wife would probably let me hang it in the living room too.

I have a friend that had his slam done by this company and they look outstanding.  Probably the best fan displays I have seen.

That is Craig and Casey Corbett.  They are great folks that do a fine job, as you can see by their pictures.

Are they still on the fourms here?  I bought one a few years ago from them.

I did this one a while back, it has a piece of glass in it, but I took it out for the photo, to not have any glare. I haven't done it yet, but plan to put pics of the hunt in cedar frames in the lower left and right. I made it out of tounge and groove cedar. I thought it turned out really well. I can take some more pics of it if you would like.

this looks great!!
