Wild Talker and White trumpet Question
« on: March 04, 2020, 05:36:54 AM »
I lost one of my books with my notes on calls Ive collected through the years. I have a Jerry White trumpet and a Wildtalker Alpha
I cant find much on line as to value and wanted to see if y'all could help
White trumpet - has his signature on the ferrel and #96. Im thinking it is cocobola

The alpha has wild talker on the upper part of the ferrel and pat pending #TY15 on the bottom of the ferrel
Any info or where you can send me would be a help
Thanks

This is a screenshot of a conversation I had with Mike Battey about that very same Wildtalker trumpet

I would put the Batty at $125 up and the White at $150 up, but the bottom line is if you get two people bidding on them there is no telling what they could bring.

I have samples of both the wildtalker and the Jerry White. ( Dads Calls ) all are very good trumpets. Give about $100 for them apiece . the Windtalker is a prototype and an actual production call one aluminum ferrule and one nautical brass ferrule . can't tell a difference in them to my ear .... Jerry probably made just over 200 in his career and I believe there was @ 100 Battey trumpets produced .

I have one of the wildtalkers and its dynamite! I don't think you'd have a problem selling.
