Picked up this yildiz about 2 weeks ago.  Got chokes in from Sumtoy on Friday so I had to pattern a bit this weekend.  I was rushed on time yesterday so I just put up some paper turkey head targets that I had on hand, they measure 11x14.  Top barrel I shot from a seated/supported position off my wheeler trailer at 40 yds.  Bottom shot standing off hand and 30 yds.

My plan with this gun was long range 35+ top barrel with TSS.  It appears like a good hunting pattern. 35 and under bottom barrel with lead.  May have to revise the bottom to 25 and under and top above that.  Bottom barrel appears a little low may have to aim at the head rather than the neck.  Other option is go TSS in both.

Top Barrel: Two shots with Fed TSS #9 using a .562 Sumtoy at 40 yards.

Bottom Barrel: Two shots with Golden Pheasant #6 using .575 Sumtoy at 30 yards.

Thoughts and opinions are much welcomed.  I patterned my 12ga 5 years ago with hevi mag blends; they gave a good hunting pattern and it kills turkeys so this is only my second time with the patterning adventure.

I would like to see what that golden pheasant load and .575 does at 15 to 20 yards.  I would use that top barrel at 30 and 40.

Been debating an over/under setup for a while now.

I run this setup with 585 in bottom barrel. Love my yildiz setup. I shoot Hal 9.5s XXXLG out of top thru Sumtoy 562 and golden pheasant out of bottom Sumtoy 585

These are 20 and 40. 20 yards is 1 3/8oz 7s load with a BPI spreader wad. Golden pheasant patterns similar but with slightly smaller numbers. 40 is Hal's XXXLG 9.5s

don't see anything wrong with any of those patterns
that 1-3/8 load of 7-1/2's will take a bird out to 35+ yds easy
it's not the harvest,it's the chase

Yea. The lead 7 load is good to 35. I have shot this 75% of the time last 2 years. Much cheaper than the TSS loads
