2 Trumpets - New Design
« on: February 15, 2020, 05:25:31 PM »
I decided to make a new trumpet model, been working on this one for a while, finally got a couple done today. I wanted to create a trumpet that would play easy softly, but had more "edge" to it when pushed, feel like I got that as this thing is pretty snappy....will try to get some recordings over the next few days. This model is shorter in length, a little brighter tone-wise, and I believe easier to play for anyone with less bell opening. It also has a slightly thinner taper near the bell, please let me know what you think, thanks....Greg

Both great looking pots but you know me, I really like that Tulipwood pot. Would love to hear it.

Little behind today, looks like tomorrow for the recordings.

I was putting this Osage Orange trumpet together, so hard to get good pictures of OO, here are some showing decent grain for Osage. My photography skills are poor, need Eric's help...lol
