Hawk Call
« on: February 13, 2020, 11:32:28 PM »
Hello guys, Looking for some opinions on your favorite "Hawk" call for locating weary toms. Also call
techniques, such as volume, when, how often, etc...
     Thanks in advance!!

I make a triple reed style...these two are set for predator hunting but work the same.

I'm also interested in people's opinions on the best hawk call and how/when people like to use them. Last week I ended up setting up less than 100 yards from 4 gobblers. They all ignored my owl hoots. Several minutes before sunrise I watched a hawk fly directly over those birds and let out a couple cries. One of the 4 gobblers responded. I would have had no idea they were there if it wasn't for that hawk.
