I have not heard of any issues with that combo, choke .555-575. I use an IC .555 in mine, but shoot handrolled loads.

I shoot that same setup and use an Indian Creek .555 with no cycling problems.

I have a Primos Titewad .570 ported choke tube already--any idea how it might do with the Federal TSS 9 ?

The titewad is supposed to be one of the better patterning choke tubes from my understanding.

I shoot the Federal #9 TSS loads through a Carlson Extra Full flush choke. I think it is a .580. It shoots very well. I have had issues cycling the Federal TSS rounds due to the shell is slightly longer than standard 3" shells due to the roll crimp. It will cycle 3" shells that are not roll crimped with out any issues every time. The shell will cycle up to the point it is supposed to go into the chamber then it just sits there. I only have to lightly touch the bolt handle and it will slam home. I can put the Federal 3rd degree 3" shells or Long Beards they will cycle with out issues. It's only the roll crimped 3" shells I have issues with.
Regardless I love the gun. just started hunting with it last year, killed two birds and a coyote with it. Very light and shoots great.

My son shoots a Primos tightwad out of an 870 youth with hand rolled TSS #9. It shoots great.
