Congrats on your successes Pack - I go back and forth between a boat paddle and a mini boat paddle, but here lately its been this one and the long box stays in the truck, but there are days I'll carry both.

Yep, it is reclaimed chestnut with a mac ebony lid. The finest sounding mini boat I've ever heard. Here's a close up:

Here's my Snozz long box which has accounted for a pile of birds over the last 15 - 20 years many of which I was calling and another shooting. Its maple over persimmon and he only made three in this combo (Ralph asks to buy this one back every time I see him, LOL).

Neither one of those calls sounds as good as John Boy says...………

I can attest they both sound better than THAT !!!

P.S.  Whatever Snozz offered you for that persimmon box wasn't enough.  I'll give you a dollar more...……...

Those long boxes are awesome, I had a Lonnie Mabry long box years ago, they do sound/play unique, need to get back into those myself.

In my opinion they are the premier turkey hunting tool, especially when you have one that can soft talk and bring longbeards those final few steps......

Yes, this is the key for me, they must be able to be run softly.
