Run 3 Indian creeks thru my Benelli M2 28 inch barrel gun ( dove and duck is reason for 28 in) had 2 of them do 335 ish with #9 (Hals is NC speed load) and 290 to 300 with Federal #9 .
Another IC 555 does 410 in the 10 at 40 with hals load and 330 with Federals . thus is near 100% in 10 at 40... This IC is stainless inside barrel black outside others are all black . I missed 3 turkeys with the Stainless choke because they got TOO close , changed to a Jebs to open up pattern and with A 565 it still shot 300 -305 but that puts about 215 in the 10 to 20 ring . ( almost doubled the 10 inch -20 in count) I feel better with the 300 or so but wouldn't have fussed about a 280 number with Hals load .
What the heck I'm hunting with a 410 Tristar that does 130-140 and they haven't got a chance at 40 with #9 TSS . so the 20 ga us WAY OVERKILL !!
