Box without spring
« on: January 12, 2020, 10:05:26 PM »
I have had problems with my paddles not rotating smoothly around the screw when I don’t use a spring. It sort of snags. I think it must have something to do with the size of the screw not “fitting” the countersunk hole in the paddle. Has anyone ever had this issue, or does anyone know a good size screw/bit combo that generally works well?

Look closely, my guess is your paddle hole is grabbing the screw threads when canted, either use a screw with longer unthreaded portion or grind your threads down.
