whose ready for 2020? I would like to say I am, but.....at my job we have a shutdown every other year in the spring. Most years its a short shutdown starting in February, and ending in march. but 2 years ago it was 100 days. And its predicted to be that long this time so I don't know how ill manage. Im gonna try my hardest, but it will be depressing. I usually do good with little time and lots of pressure, but you never know. Happy new year to everyone. I hope we all get a back on the team when season gets closer.

I know I'm ready. This year has really sucked and I'm ready for a good year. But it seems our turkey population has dramatically declined due to the damn hogs. Now the good ole MDC says you cant shoot them on public anymore. They are out of control here in SE Missouri.
I'm ready to get things kicked off myself!!

dude hogs have been out of control down here for over a decade, but the worst state by far I have seen them in was louisianna. I killed a bird there on public last year, and its the only place ive ever hunted where you could walk in any block of woods and just walk within bowrange of hogs. dozens of them. turkeys are also practically extinct in that state, I did kill one , glad I checked that box before they are. I feel your pain with the pigs, sounds like you may have to try some new areas if the turkeys have left.

This one didn't make it!! too bad only 1 got killed. Probably 30 in the group I seen and 20 of em were young ones.

I seen that. What sucks is I broke my damn leg Saturday night racing 4 wheelers. Goin to see ortho doc today to see if surgery is needed. Come heck or high water I'm gonna hunt!!
