Here’s an interesting one

At least to me, a mesquite box call. Thanks to some of y’alls recommendations I got this from Noel Gonzales, it’s a Jatoba top, mesquite box and walnut base. Sounds great. The Florida birds probably haven’t heard this combo. Noel is great to work with, even calling afterwards to make sure I liked it. He doesn’t like to dedicate a certain type of top cuz once he make a mesquite box he likes to try different tops until he finds one that work with that box. The things got some weight to it and plays easy. I see Spring Creek made a mesquite box recently also, I may have to try one of those as well.

The old coon dog has his own unique yawk packed in these mesquite boxes...pure killers.

Great call and even better man, the old coon dog is one of a kind...you only get a small taste of his personality on the phone.
