Stevens 301 T 20 gauge
« on: August 25, 2019, 04:12:47 PM »
Just got this gun for turkey hunting. Put a SigSauer Romeo5 red dot on it. Seems well made and looks like a good shooting pattern (picture in pattern area). On problem I’ve had was assuming the rail screws on the gun for the red dot were tight. The rail came loose while sighting in the gun. Removed the rail, put purple Loctite on the screws and torqued them down. No problem since .

How is the recoil on a single shot with a 3" turkey load?

Not bad at all. Shot mine sighting it in propped up on a picnic table. Didn’t really feel it at all.
