John makes some awesome looking calls. , sound really good also
I have both 3 1/2" @ 3 1/4" titanium. Both sound Good I faver the 3 1/4"
Good morning. I just picked up John Sinclair Gaboon Ebony titanium 3.25. Heard great things about it, his sound video sounding real good. I will give you feedback, if I like it I will probably order one in brass.

I have this one from him in Titanium Surface Mexican Bocote wood pot, thing gets so loud it makes my head hurt. I had to stop using it in the blind because it was just to loud. Sounds great outside though. I look forward to seeing what you think of yours.

I have heard nothing but good about Johns calls would like to get a call made for me by him, not sure what wood though. I truly love Tulipwood for some reason but it is hard to find. I have a pot coming in Tulipwood soon and it would be nice to get another one with brass in it but I am not sure how well brass and Tulipwood would sound together. I would like to end up with a trumpet and a box call with Tulipwood before my race has been run, that should be a while though I would hope :D

Should be coming tomorrow. Can’t wait. Will give you feedback. Question, I never had a titanium call. Is there any special way to condition them? Thanks....

I have a host of Sinclair metal calls two of which are brass, one is a 3.5" Rosewood and a 3.25" Cocobolo.
They both play great and have excellent tonal quality !!!

There should be a grain to the titanium and you would play against that if I remember what I was told correctly. If you look at the picture of my call there is a scratch on the left side of the titanium, I put my thumb there and then play from left to right or counter clockwise when yelping and down or slightly left when purring or pretty much straight down when clucking. I would ask the person you bought from to be sure though.
