Hey all you sleepy turkey hunters, it's time to wake up. Fall seasons are either coming open soon or already open. So let's get some turkey hunting chatter going.

How was your hatch this year?  Looks like we had a fairly good hatch in southern Ohio

are you hunting just gobblers or any turkey?   will hunt for a gobbler the first couple weeks then an adult hen or YOY Jake.

Do you use dogs?  No

Have you scouted? yes, got some ideas and saw a few birds

What is your opening day?  October 12

Are you hunting more than one state?Ohio & KY

Hunting IL on public. Despite all the rain this Spring this ground has had a good hatch. I've seen turkey on every outing. Last year during archery I only had two encounters. So far gun hunters have shot 2,last year 3 was total gun harvest. Archery hunters have shot 8,last year total was 4. I've called in 6 longbeards. A flock of 4 and a pair. Plus 20ish total family flock.
