Most box call makers I know, do not like making them and they charge more for them because of the time to make them.  Not sure there is any advantage to a one-sider versus a regular box call.  We all have our preferences.

I just opened my Tony Quarino one sider this weekend,,I own a nice selection of the need to know, must have call maker boxes but this Quarino one sider is the easiest box I've ever played has far has getting a nice sound. If your itching to try a one sider without spending alot give him a go.
