As long as it says Dawkins on the bottom you be cleaning birds while everyone else will be hunting birds...best box call out there and 100% hand made from start to finish, not many callmakers today and truly say that.

Oh I totally agree his thread just asked for double check is why I said that..Every call or pot I've tried of his has been unbelievable. U Actually turned me on to him.

Darrin makes the best Box calls! I have single, double and a triple checked box call. The triple says "Red Cedar is From North Florida Black Walnut is From Illinois Finished August, 31 2002  This is my First Cedar Short Box as well as The First Triple Check call that I have Made.  I also have some Parquet Calls He has made me that are my favorite. He is a Great call maker and even better person!

Do the double and triple checked calls sounds better, or is it just a more intricate detail that makes the call look different?  I know checkering changes the sound of the box, just curious if double checked sounds different than single or triple checkered.
