I have been hunting this bird on my farm for about 3 weeks and he always seemed to be a step ahead of me. Well this morning I got on a ridge that I thought he was roosting and hit the owl call and he gobbled about 50 yards in front of me. I was setting in a nice beech tree flat on the ridge and I had a feeling that he was going to fly down and land on the flat.... After 8-10 gobbles he flew down and landed about 15 yards in front of me and I give him some Federal HW #7s from my 11-87 20ga. It made it even better to kill a bird of this caliber on my own farm. 20#s, 11.25" beard and 1.5" Spurs
