I was hoping you all could possibly help me out with some information about this shotgun or at least the shotgun brand. It is a very good feeling gun. This Particular shotgun seems to be a tactical shotgun that they made into a turkey shotgun. It has an 18" barrel and is light. the size and weight make it a very handy shotgun for hunting.

I would not buy a rubber band made in Istanbul let alone a shotgun. My suggestion buy from a reputable company , especially when talking semi autos. There's not a lot to go wrong with an imported single shot but even a good brand semi auto can have issues.
If you make everything easy how do you know when your good at anything?

I was under the assumption, it was made in Turkey. I know ATA is a company based out of Turkey.

Turkey is a country.
Istanbul is a city in Turkey.
Istanbul is the city were ATA is located per there website
Buying a semiauto shotgun from Turkey or any city or village in Turkey is not a good idea imo.
If your set on buying the gun have at it.

Guess I needed to pay more attention in school. There are several decent shotguns made in Turkey though? I am not buying this shotgun but my dad has bought one. I was just hoping that someone on here might give me some information about ATA or this shotgun in particular.

Only ATA I ever shot is my 20GA O/U, a very nice gun for the money, same as the Savage O/U's, nice to use when to rainy for the Fox.

I think most the other Turkish shotguns are made in the same factory...or Armsman.
Weatherby SA, Mossberg SA, Escort, Hanson, Most tristars to name a few.  I have now..or have had about 10 turkish semi-auto shotguns..  Internally they are very similar, some of them use pistons you can change out. Some have a few more cosmetic perks.   But like anything else, you can get a bad one.

I have a Stoeger 3020 and an ATA CY 12ga. auto, both are made in Turkey        both might break tomorrow, but so far they have done everything I ask them to do
