In the market, looking for suggestions on a O/U 20 gauge, 24" or 26" barrel. Most likely sending it out to Sumtoy. What would you recommend ?

Love my beretta. Had local guy lengthen forcing combs and put two Jebs chokes in. .560 in the top and .585 in the bottom (goose choke). Running tss #9 in top and hevishot #7 in the bottom. Straight up wicked.

Are you willing to step out of the boat as Peter did?  Think about it, he wouldn't have walked on water without stepping out of the boat!

I went with the Browning Cynergy Field 26” barrels. I'm shooting a 1 3/8oz. TSS Hand load through a Trulock .615 (skeet 2) choke out of the top barrel getting a nice 20” pattern at 25 yards with 250 in the 10”.
A Trulock .585 in the bottom barrel shooting 1 7/16 oz. TSS handload gives me the same pattern at 40 yds. Both barrels are dead on.
I took off the factory ivory bead and put a HiViz competition fiber optic on it. I'm trying to find some type of camo gun sock to use for turkey hunting, I really don't want to dip or coat it.

I’m working on a franchi instinct SL.  Put sumtoy rib mount and .562/.570 chokes.  It’s bout to go get dipped/cerakoted.  I’ll post pics when done.

Thanks.  I’ve always wanted one, and it has not disappointed  super light trekking through the woods!

I just purchased a CZ upland ultralight green. Couldn’t justify dragging an expensive OU through the turkey woods. It has a matte black finish and a green anodized receiver. It is less than 6lbs and has no mid rib which makes it easy to attach a sling between the barrels. It shoots straight and the patterns I’m getting are slightly better than my m2 20ga.

There’s some spots where I guess it was scratched and was colored with a sharpie. The bottom of the barrel the film is pretty badly stretched. If had been an expensive gun I would have not been happy
