Horrible trigger design.  I've done trigger work on two SXP Longbeard 20 gauges and both were "acceptable" post work.  My gun accounted for 4 gobblers this year w/ a 15/8 oz. handload of TSS. 9's.  Winchester really needs to address the quality control issues on these shotguns, esp. the triggers.

A little off topic and sorry to slightly high jack this thread, but since we are on crappy Winchester triggers, I have an SX3 in 12 gauge and the trigger has a lot of slop in it.  Can you folks who did/had trigger work go in to detail on what was done?  I am thinking of tinkering with it this summer to try to tighten up the slop and lower the poundage.  Or is the SX3 trigger a completely different animal than the SXP and I'm stuck with what I got?

I am shooting a Carlson’s .568 in my 500 moss 870 Rem and Stevens 301  with Federal TSS  #9 all three guns are turkey killing machines at 40+ yds.
