Oklahoma public land HELP
« on: April 25, 2019, 07:53:10 PM »
Long story short, this is my second spring hunting in OK. I go to college in OKC and am trying like crazy to kill my first rio, I’m from IN so im used to hunting easterns on private. Hunted Lexington, black kettle, packsaddle and I just recently tried okmulgee. Season is coming to a close shortly, and this will be my last spring here in OK. I have tried so hard to kill my first rio here and I want nothing more than for that to happen. I’m planning on hunting out at okmulgee WMA all day this Saturday. If anyone has ANY tips on what I could do on these public grounds (preferably Lexington and okmulgee) it would be much appreciated! Birds seem to be shutdown and can’t get a bird to gobble to save my life. Again, any tips would be AWESOME! Thanks!!!
