Well the six-mile ride in sugar sand kicked my tail - only saw three hens - no birds talking in the AM - went to a spot I killed a bird two years ago - go figure I should have set up another 1/4 mile in - lots of tracks/sign and is where the three hens were
Won't take the bike on this route again unless I'm in better shape - on the positive side the quail were thick and found a few more spots to walk out next Fall
