Finally finished my Slam!

I have had all but the Osceola for several years, harvested with my bow. Tried 4 years prior to complete an archery slam unsuccessfully. Typically in low population areas. This year i went back to Clermont to try again. Bird spooked at 15 yards as i was about to draw, picked up the gun and shot him in the face at 40 yards as he was walking in circles and putting. DONE!

CONGRATS!!!!  It's GREAT to chase these birds through several states.  Completed my slam several years ago in South Dakota with a true white tipped Merriam.  Have hunted NC, Wisconsin, Florida, Kansas and South Dakota.  Love those trips to other states!

Yes, the trips to other states are fun! Took my archery Rio in N. California . Near Clear Lake in a vineyard. Merriams were all in Nebraska. Easterns in several states in the south and Michigan as well.
