I have a rosewood over teak mini, a Ipe over black spotted holly mini and a macarta over chechen mid size. I think it's his 18 size.
All great calls and PRETTY!

I hit Mr.Richards box this morning and about five hundred yards away the ol boss hen got fired up. I started mimicking her and she couldn't stand it. Came in on a string to 15 yards. To me that's when you know you got a good one

Talked to Richard for about an hour and a half yesterday evening. 

Got on his list for a snakewood over teak.....

AND a macassar ebony over english walnut.

When you receive the calls  I hope you can place a sound clip I like to here  snakewood over Teak is very hard  not on the soft side

True but that is one of the best sounding hen boxes I have ever hear. Bad thing about teak is it is a oily wood so it absorbs chalk faster than many other woods. You keep it chalked good , you would be hard pressed to find one that sounds better.
