Sometimes Coyotes come into my decoys. #4 LB is effective to about 35 yards although a follow up shot may be needed. I was wondering how TSS is with coyotes. Especially #9 as that is what will be in my gun: a 20 gauge. Is #4 TSS a good option for coyote? Thanks for any info.

Surely the #9 TSS wold do the job. I've  ended several with a 20 gauge 2 3/4  Remington #6 nitros. Can't  say any were 35 yds. out.

I head shot with 9's at 50 yards using my 12 a couple years ago. Rolled him. If your loading for yotes I'd go with 6's.

I have taken several of them out to 40+ yds with lead #4's
it's not the harvest,it's the chase

I load tss 3s for yotes. It's really impressive out to 100

Wondering what kind of pattern and how many pellets - 12g or 20g. Most of my shots are very close but being able to reach out on occasion would be nice.
