My season has been hard. I’ve seen Toms every time I’ve been out but they are totally silent on the ground and have been with hens even late into the morning (11am). I’m hoping for a change of pace over the next few days.

I had a good season. I killed my two birds in Ohio on the second and third days. I called three others for my buddies. Gobbling was spotty, but picked up later in the season. I also killed one in Ky. and missed one in Ky. The second one in Ky got around me and I got busted He was actually too close (10 yards ) and I know I shot over him twisting around. He flew up in a tree just below me and sat there and putted. Finally he flew down the hill, so I'm pretty sure it was a clean miss.
