Been listening 2-3x a week for 3 weeks now.  I’ve heard birds every time out, but seems numbers may be down some.  Places I normally hear 8-10 birds at a couple diff roosts, I’m heading 1-2 together and that’s it.  I’m hoping it’s just this cold weather.  But I’m thinking no.  This morning was perfect!  Seasonal temps and not a breath of wind.  Heard a couple in a place that I heard a boatload last year

Snow and cold wind probably has shut the birds down for awhile

Hit the goose call off the back porch tonight. Few of them sounded off saying goodnight to me just further down the creek rather than being right behind the house!

They should be gobbling good this weekend with the warmer weather. Calling for rain here on Sunday though.
