When's everyone getting started? I thought I saw someone is starting in Florida?

March 23 will be my first chance to hunt. It's a draw hunt and may or may not make the draw. Regular season in KY is 4/13 to 5/5. Not looking real good around here, in years past there were 3 wintering flocks of 75 to 100 birds each. Haven't seen a single flock this year. Three years ago I could set on my deck and hear 5 or 6 gobblers hammering. Have not heard a gobbler in 2 years and if I don't hear one this spring, make it 3. I do have a few places to hunt so maybe this old man will get lucky.  :camohat:
Spring turkey hunting, I love it so.                FREEDOM IS NOT FREE

Mid April for me. Have some youth hunts to attend to first. Hopefully the weather starts to clear out soon and I can start getting out in the woods scouting.

I’m heading down to FL from SC Friday morning to hopefully roost some birds that evening. Hunting Saturday, Sunday, and Monday and possibly may check out some public land the rest of the week on my way back home, depending on how my hunt goes this weekend...

I saw there was a new post on the WM page and was hoping it was going to be a dead bird picture from you. Let us know how the trip goes. I wouldn’t be upset with daily updates  :anim_25:
