I opted for the 2 oz load in 3.5" reason being I had plenty of pellets at 40 yards and I wanted the extra energy.

Solid choice..FYI I seen a guy on youtube running them 2 OZ loads through a chronograph and they were way faster than 1200fps . You will have more than enough energy to kill past 40 if need so.   Good Luck
