Hey y'all, I am trying to make a call to run in contests for my tree call and purr. I can get both of these sounds out of my regular all around call, but I am looking for something that I can be more consistent with when I am doing the soft stuff. Any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated. I have a feather ridge pro comp press and on average I stretch between 160 and 200 for my calls that I do my cutting and yelping on.
Thanks again,
Zach Hayes

If you havent tried using a two reeded call I'd start there. My thinking being that it takes less air pressure to fire the call, leading to softer sounds.
I don't use your type of press, so I cant comment on how tightly you're stretching, but a lighter stretch could also possibly help as well.
