quick question, I recently had to do a little repair on a pot call of mine, while repairing I did some light sanding with a scotch bright pad, can I use the Boiled linseed oil to restore that "finish" look to match the rest of the pot?

and will the little bit of BLO change sound?

BLO shouldn’t affect the tone assuming you don’t get it on the calling surface but I’d find out what finish was on the call to start with first.
