Shot the guns today. Franchi did great with the federal tss at 40yds and the Indian creek .670 291 in 10". Shot my sons .410 also with modified barrel and federal tss#9's it did good out to 25 putting 91 in 10"

Bro that gun should be way over that try a jebs

Why? Nice, even enough pattern with 291/10 will kill way out there with lots of wiggle room. Cramming them all into a 10" isn't all it's cracked up to be.

Completely agree, since when is 291/10 not enough?

I just got the same choke for an m1 im hoping it does around the same as yours with the same shells. How was your 20" pattern? I haven't patterned mine yet

Good Post and Good Pictures!!

I hope to get out and shoot mine when this snow gets off!! Have 3 boxes of Federal TSS to run though my M1 Benelli Turkey and cant wait to see how it shots it! Was hoping to try out the new Kent load but called them and was unable to get any to pattern...I don't think they understand how serious we turkey hunters are!!

Love the 410 pic!!

Exactly ...  This is about what I like to see with a 12GA/TSS when talking about "real world" hunting pattern.  Don't get caught up on the max hits in a 10in ... you don't want the max.  Then you wonder why you miss so many close birds.... cause your pattern is the size of a golf ball.

Thanks for the input guys I felt pattern was plenty good for killing. I'm not much of a paper shooter and most of the guys preaching the 10" circle numbers shoot a piece of poster board and then circle the densest part of the pattern. I actually sighted mine in held on the center and added em up. I didn't have a big enough target to get 20" circle numbers. I can't wait to get to Kentucky this year and smack an eastern

ky slayer

Good lookin pattern. Where about in Kentucky you going?

Mottledcitizen

Well went out and did the ol poster board trick at 40 and got crazy numbers. I'm getting 361 in 10@40 and I'm totally good with that.its a scosh high and left but very well could have been me .
