870 & TSS Question
« on: January 27, 2019, 01:15:17 PM »
So I have an 870 that has a Remington Ventilator choke on it and it does fine with 3.5 #5 Turkey Thug ammo. If I ever decided to switch to TSS #9, would I need to switch the choke (If I remember correctly the Remington Ventilator choke says for lead only)? If so what do you guys that shoot this gun and ammo recommend.

I've read a lot of good things about Indian Creek .665 with Remington and TSS. Good luck.

I have a Ventilator also that does fine with lead. I got an Indian Creek .665 when I switched to Nitros with heavy shot. Id be scared to try the ventilator with tss. Would probably be too tight anyway.
