What is the difference in a baffled to not baffled Turkey tube call? Are they easier to run?

I'm starting to sound like a know-it-all to myself. LOL. Just a life long tube caller. The baffle 'tones' it down a little. A tube call can be too loud in a lot of circumstances. You can do the same with how you cup your hands around it. Also a bit of sponge works well, being CAREFUL that you still have open space on two sides. Your breath's moisture will be absorbed by the sponge, plugging the tube if the sponge does not have open sides. The baffle softens the tone, also let's you call with less volume.
