My name is Buster, and I am a striker-aholic....

Anyone have directions to the support group??

Jeff told me if you keep posting pictures of his strikers, he is going to drive to your house, and sock you in the eye. :TooFunny: :TooFunny:
Just kidding:  Larry, you and Jeff build some top quality calls and strikers for sure.
I wish he would drive down here.  I could get him to paint my house!

Three new ones came today.  I won't try to spell two of them but the dark one is bulletwood.  They are all great as usual.

Glad you like Buster!

Those are 3 new woods i just picked up.
From left to right...

Angels heart ...very hard, 3160 on the janka hardness scale, but not a very dense wood.

Chakte Viga...2250 on the janka scale, and vey dense.
To me, its a raspy version of tulip....not overly raspy, just enough.
I dont have much of this...

Bulletwood ....not to be confused with bullet tree wood.
This stuff is very heavy, and very hard...I've seen it rated from 3100 to 3600.

Just received a katalox from Jeff. Absolutely locked on the horns of a dilemma trying to figure out if it sounds best on my Crystal Mistress or my aluminum from Enticer. The fact of the matter is it sounds great on both! Absolutely can`t be any nicer guy to deal with to boot. If you haven`t already, you guys really need to do yourselves a favor and treat yourselves to one ( at least!! ) of Jeff`s strikers. I guarantee you you won`t be sorry.

Also got a chakte viga striker from Jeff. Anybody that has a raw aluminum like a Silver Thunder from Enticer really ought to add one of these. Can`t really comment on how it would do on anodized simply because I don`t have one.

Received a couple more, snakewood and pernambuco, guys I don’t think strikers can get much better. Outstanding craftsmanship!

Thanks Jeff!

I am quite sure folks here are sick of me bragging on Jeff's strikers.  You can accuse me of just trying to help a friend (and yes he is my friend) but I can promise that if they weren't fantastic I would never say anything about them.  While I cant say I have one of every wood from him I have a LOT of them and today I got 2 that may very well be the best I have.  My favorite this year has been the hormigo (orange agate) and was the only one I used this season.  This pernambuco I received today is to my ears a better striker than any I've had and that's saying a lot I think.  I really didnt think I would have one that I would reach for before the hormigo, but this one will get a lot of use.  Also a bolivian ebony came with it that is really, really good as well.  Take a chance and get one or ten and I know you will be well pleased, and you may find he will be your friend too.

Chris my favorites are in this order
1. Pernambuco
2. Hormigo
3. Black locust
And this is on slate or glass.  I must qualify that by saying I am not considering my snakewood because I can't make myself include it as it is so much more expensive than others.  If the cost didnt matter snakewood would be in the top 3.
