Shutdown calls
« on: January 09, 2019, 10:15:28 PM »
Being a furloughed federal worker is not much fun but in an attempt to make the most of it I've been in the shop the last several days.  Looks like I will have plenty more days in the shop too.  Looking forward to Unicoi for the first time this weekend.

I ran the Osage glass over slate today at Unicoi and it has a killer sound. Good Lord willing I will carry it this spring. Larry has perfected his calls and these will play with the big boys stuff.

Nice looking calls. What is the wood on the top of the box call?

Mr Rickey I appreciate your kind words.  Visiting with you was truly the highlight of the day for me.

I just received my Osage glass/slate and I’m glad I listened to others! This is a fine high quality built pot that sounds fantastic.
